IMS 2023 Sails into San Diego

The IEEE/MTT-S International Microwave Symposium (IMS 2023) is dedicated to areas of Radio frequency (RF) and microwave engineering.  IMS2023 returns to San Diego for what's known colloquially as Microwave Week, with the overall event spanning on 11-16 June 2023. It will be co-located with the IEEE MTT-S Radio Frequency Integrated Circuits Symposium (RFIC) and the Automatic Radio Frequency Techniques Group (ARFTG).

IMS typically assigns itself a few themes each year. For this year (IMS2023) covers topics such as :

• Wireless Power Transfer
• Wireless Communications, including 6G developments, Wi-Fi, RF and microwave system-on-chip integration, massive MIMO systems and subsystems, and more
• Model-Based Systems Engineering, including Digital Twins
• Automotive Systems
• The use of RF and microwave techniques and technology in biomedical applications
• Aerospace - design for reliability, satellite communications, internet of space systems, radiation hardness, CubeSats..
