Tree Planting Volunteer Activities in RichWave

In order to fulfill our commitment to green sustainability, to meet the global 2050 net-zero carbon emissions target, and to enhance our global competitiveness, we partnered with the Compassion Development Foundation to adopt and plant 200 trees this year.

RichWave employees with their families cheerfully began planting trees in groups. From the demonstration, we learned that a large tree can reduce carbon emissions by 10-15 kg a year. We also realized that tree planting and maintenance is not easy and that it requires physical effort and time to complete.

Moreover, Taiwan, being surrounded by the sea, has experienced serious shoreline recession and the disappearing of coastal forests due to development on the coastline. 

By this event, we hope to raise public awareness on tree-planting and caring for the environment. Also, we want to contribute to reducing carbon emissions for the earth and making green sustainability the most valuable investment.
