Patent Number and Intellectual Property Management

The Company actively promotes its intellectual property management plan. In order to strengthen the Company’s innovation capability and product competitiveness, and to protect the Company’s advanced technological achievements, the Company takes "uses the power of technology to become the global RF chip market leader" and achieve "market differentiation" as its business strategy goals. From these goals, we develop patent proposals that need to be achieved each year and the number of certifications to obtain, and then encourage employees in all R&D units to achieve the goals.

Implementation Status:

The Company regularly reports the number of patents and intellectual property related matters to the Board of Directors in the fourth quarter of each year, and reported the achievement to the Board of Directors on October 28, 2021 and December 23, 2021, respectively, as follows:

Achievement of patent goals:

In 2020, the target number of proposals is 49, and the cumulative number of proposals is 47, for an achievement rate of 96%.

In 2021, the target number of proposals is 51, and the cumulative number of proposals is 16, for an achievement rate of 31%.
